We were up four, gave up a 7 point "run". To Rutgers.
This is sort of what I expected considering the circumstances; coming off a big win, quick turnaround, playing at 11, against a horrible team at their place. And of course the normal jump shooting team we've grown to love. We should be destroying this Rutgers team. It's not like we don't have something to play for in this game.

uuugh, Laphonso Ellis. Illinois has as strong a record as NW. That stupid shot by NW is soo annoying to watch everyone gush over.
I thought Finke played poorly too, especially on D. Gettys beating him down the court and to the rim for that tip-in was the play of the half, and said it all.p as to why we're behind. The D intensity we've had lately hasn't shown up at all. If we get early additional fouls in the 2nd we'll be in trouble. Gotta both pick it up and avoid that.
I agree. I worried about this game. Rutgers has played a lot of teams tough. Anyone who thought this was going to be easy just wasn't being realistic. That said, our bigs need to do something.

I'm remaining hopeful that's not the only solace we'll be able to take from this season. Guess we'll find out in 20 minutes.What happened to that poster that said he was rooting/happy for NW a few weeks back? That was pretty annoying too. NW is just annoying any way it's involved.
