Oh well, that's what we figured, right? Let's win one for him and try to get back on track! I'd rather have Ayo out and make sure he's healthy so that we can maybe finish the year on a win streak and go into the BTT hot.

I hope AG plays great and we have a shooter feeding the post to space the floor. GB plays to his strengths against a team he put up big numbers on last year. (no 3pt attempts unless the shot clock forces it). Kofi holds on to the ball better and finishes strong.

Win the TO and Rebounding war!

Any idea of the starting line up?
I am curious too especially with Ayo out. Plus with how GB has struggled playing more on the perimeter. if GB is going to be force to play outside he may as well come off the bench and back up Kofi. if GB is out there id rather him down low or hitting the glass and a shooter feeding the post. I am looking forward to see if AG starts. either way he needs 30 min.

At this game time , only 2 games in the loss column separate the 3rd place team in the Big10 from the 12th place team. A loss would put us one game out of 12th place in the loss column. A loss puts the Illini dangerously close to the 12th place team looking at Penn State on the road. A win here would be very helpful in keeping in the upper half of the conference!!!!

That goes for every team in that mess. Losses will pile up for all teams. After the next two, our schedule turns very favorable. Should make up ground or create a gap, depending on which way you want to look at it. It's been a brutal stretch of five games.

When BU said yesterday that he didn't practice, but was doing some things....that pretty much told the story, which is totally expected. The fact that he's not walking with crutches and a brace is good enough news for me(moreso for him).

Let's see who can step up.

I hope we show multiple looks on D today

yes, I’d like to see TIMELY adjustments in all phases. When things aren’t going to plan (and they won’t most likely given, ya know, we’ve been scouted too), I hope we make an adjustment before it’s too late/requires heroics from 1-2 players.

Pretty solid starting lineup. But with those starters the bench is going to be a huge wildcard.

It's early, but this could be a long game fellas. The size the Rutgers has on the perimeter is really causing problems on both ends. We're struggling to get good looks on the offensive end and we've yet to get a clean rebound on the defensive end.

Kofi is trying to do too much. He's got to learn how to pass more out of a double/triple team
