Very undisciplined play today will cost the Illini. However, For I would like to see a flop called on some of these late hits. It was the right call for a late hit, but it was embellishment. In hockey that would have been offsetting penalties.
That hold by Patterson no more egregious than the one not called on the end zone pass to Franklin.
