Less worried about losing this game and more worried about where Kipper is.
Thorne could spell Morgan when against Tacko, as well.

I was referring to UCF. UCF has never played before a home crowd like this.
I feel like this is the first time most of these students have ever been to a basketball game.
I know it's the NIT and in the big scheme it's not that important. However, there needs to be a new rule within the athletic department: no scheduling for the SFC in March until after Selection Sunday. I mean how long is this going to be a problem? This happened during Webers tenure when we had to go to Stony Brook. Renovations is one thing, but cmon a musical? I get that they need to make money but is the potential gain better than the Illinois brand being represented in MSG? I mean how much are they making on a traveling Broadway show ( means lots of the Broadway cast is not performing) on a Wednesday night in Champaign?
So tell me, why don't we run? Like the entire half? They only have seven players and Tacko can't run.
Yeah but I bet there are more people at the musical than would be at the game.
Kipper is at the game, on the bench, in uniform. Just hasn't gotten in. Possibly he got injured but he is definitely at the game.
I marvel at our fans caring about the NIT every time.
Here's hoping this is our last NIT berth for a good long while.

Either! Were you watching him?
We care because our school and team are playing. We're invested and want them to win regardless of who the opponent or tournament is. You care at least a little bit or you wouldn't be paying attention as well.
Kipper was dunking in warm ups. Nothing physical. Must be in trouble for something

I'll take that bet. We had 5700 last game. An off Broadway show in Champaign on Wednesday does not draw that, sorry.
I have a feeling this might be the last Illini blowout we see for a while.

Makes you wonder what someone could do between a Monday and a Wednesday to get a suspension?
Disagree. This is a perfect game to let him play through whatever is spooking him on the offensive end (i.e., his shooting). To me, that is why you play the NIT -- to give younger guys a chance to PLAY, rather than have their !!! yanked for every mistake they make. AJ needs to get PT, period. For the new coaching staff's benefit and AJ's as well.
Same would apply to DJW, but who knows what's going on with him.
