I hate blaming refs as much as anyone else. We are terrible against a zone, and we are not playing well in long stretches, but this officiating is egregiously one sided.

This game is making me remember the old ILLINI spirit of how we played tough no matter who we played and no matter what the opponent did to us throughout the game and no matter where the game was played. We would fight to come back to even and make a game of it down to the last seconds. This is getting very refreshing. And can I also add:eek:ver 600 in game comments!!!! When was the last time that happened?

Our offense has been bad tonight and our defense has been just as bad. We've given up way too many points to this bad Wake team and scored way too few against them.

Uhhh no. We may not be playing well but if you can't get into a flow and have obvious blatantly bad calls you have NO SHOT at winning. Its a damn shame and a slap in the face to the integrity of the game. There are bad called games and then there are games that make you wonder which ref has money on the line

read the damn Wake Forest board, even THEY ARE SAYING THAT WE'RE GETTING HOSED! There's like a dozen posts on their game thread that say essentially "wow, Illinois is getting screwed"
