Surprised we didn't try to get a fg attempt. It's not like Washington has stopped us either. I guess Brett likes were we are right now if he didn't try to get an attempt.

Watch and listen close to the re-run and you can hear the football clanging against his shoulder pads. I mean it hitting right in the chest.

Number 12 on Washingon's defense is Alex McLaughlin whose grandparents live in Macomb, IL and are good friends of mine. Her mother was a classmate of my daughter. His father was a good QB for Macomb High School.

Gabe Jacas, our star defender and All American candidate, with 1 tackle all game so far? That is not going to impress NFL scouts. Now is the time for him to exert some leadership by example and get his teammates on defense much more involved as well. He has it in him to do this. By contrast, our offensive leader, Luke, is certainly doing his best to win this.
