Not really. Advanced stats suggested he was similar to a freshman level Coleman Hawkins. Some promise, but primarily fixated on shooting threes and questionable decision making in a body needing some strength. He was expected to be a deep bench player with some spare minutes upside, not a rotation player

this team is so bad and this is a good offensive start for them. no matter what they do they cant get a stop on defense.

Anyone else really sad that the Duke vs Illinois game was originally talked about as being a really good game and is now being billed as mighty Duke vs Illinois “trying to shock the nation”? Like we’re some D2 team?

I understand why. And it would be a shock if we won. I just wish this season had gone a different way I guess…

Ellis knows nothing about our team, including the player’s height. Does he even study up for a game? What a tool.
