Cuz he sucks and he's run Wisconsin into the ground.

The fact that he's curb stomping us doesn't change that, just means we need to take a good hard look in the mirror and ask some tough questions.
The composite ranking for our entire roster is 64, not good. Beliema has a solid structure for the program. But Wisky showing a lot of speed and talent on both sides of the line. Imagine their ranking much higher.

While the 3rd and long failures have been bad, I'm still laying this on the offense. If we are playing from ahead I don't think they score 27.

Play calling and bad pass protection.

Reality is last year was a 9 win team that was way closer to 6-6 than we’d care to admit. And then beat what was apparently a fraud of a program in the bowl game. IL football can never seem to move beyond the occasional good season followed by a letdown when the following season has some buzz.

Bret is good. But this staff has some weak spots. And tbh the recruiting really needs to elevate. There are a lot of very mediocre players in the starting units.
1. This is revisionist history. If we win 50% of 50-50 games last year we still end up with 8 wins.

2. We had zero games last season where we looked this bad. Zero.

Worst game of the year. What an embarrassment. Not just out coached and out played. We were out hustled too. Our team looked like they didn't care at all. I don't remember when I saw a better definition of sucking out loud. We looked 100% uncompetitive the entire game except maybe one or two defensive series. I expect a formal apology and some heads to roll for this one.

Too early for post-season sentiments, but Luke is an all-timer in my book. Glad he was here for his final season.
Luke absolutely is an all-timer. I'm grateful he stayed loyal and came back.

Makes it all the more tragic that things have gone the way they have, relative to expectations.

Yes, we can rehash again how much better things are now than they were for the program, just a few short years ago, and I get that. But nothing that can happen between now and whatever end this season comes to will change the fact that this has been a disappointment.

I feel that for no one more than Luke, who had lucrative options he declined on...for this.
