But we shouldn't have to blitz Akron to get pressure
Three points isn't seven points but If we can't decisively shut down the offense ranked 124th last year in FBS, and last in the MAC, at Memorial Stadium, having all summer to prepare, then I'd say the canary is not only dead in the coal mine but stiff as a board and starting to smell.
Defense is still porous, middle is wide open. At least we dialed up some pressure late in that series. Should be interesting to see the defense against P5 competition.
