Could not have scripted a worse start. Shame to see such a promising season crash and burn playing a mid-major opponent. we will find out what this team is made of in the next 30 minutes of play. Horrible in all phases so far, offense, defense, foul shooting, passing, turn overs, and rebounding.
I'm reminded of the bad losses the Illini had this year when someone would say "this will be a learning experience that will help come Tournament time." I didn't believe that then and I don't believe it now. Just no energy in this opening game and Kofi looks gassed already.
