If they are going to continue to sell out and play such an aggressive perimeter defense, we need to drive the ball into the lane and just foul them out. The defense they are playing is ridiculous and the principle of it seems to be to make constant minor contact with the offensive player and hope the refs only call a foul every third possession instead of three per possession.

This right here. The first 15 min of the game we weee running our offense at half court.

Disjointed uninspired unfocused half. No made 3s, no rhythm at all on O. Like to see RJ get a shot. Taking the lid off the 3s and fouling them out in 2nd half is what we need. 1st two mins of next half has the be all ours - not optional if we want this.

They have not done much right but down 4 and took the best punch the other team had

I said this in the pregame thread- this is the Chattanooga defense. They sell out hard to guard the three and get steals. Need to forget about the three ball for now. Just keep getting the ball inside, whether to the bigs or pump fake and take it to the hoop.
