I think Coach Underwood needs to take some "credit" here too. It's a team game, and he's the head of the program.Meh, I don’t see how this is on Hawkins. He’s at least active. I’m with Underwood. “You guys want to win or not?” Doesn’t look like it.
And again. Just grabbing Kofi to prevent the score is not a bball play.Like there, how was that not an intentional foul on Ayeni(?)? He simply grabbed Kodi, no play on the ball at all.
I refuse to believe that yet. To quote Bluto in Animal House " Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor???!!?"Stick a fork. Not our night.
Our chances will be as good as anybody else's in the tournament. It's a complete reset. Survive and advance.Even if we win this game I do not like our chances in the next
I couldn't figure how we got the under 8 and Chattanooga had only four fouls against them.We waited until under 5 minutes to attack their bigs that have been in foul trouble all game. SMH
Meetings with the press are now performative. Players mouthing coach-speak. Hearts not really in it, sadly.I think you hit the nail on the head (and, by the way, could our players do THAT?!). That presser with Kofi, Curbelo and Frazier looked and sounded exactly like that - no chemistry. They TALK about "unity...connected..." and all that, but they rarely look that way on the court. This game and too many others show that. So much of what is wrong with the team seems to point to coaching because we've got talent but it's not honed. And Curbelo and passes and turnovers.... sheesh.
