Up by 9 when shooting poorly? They have Detroit at 35% overall and 23% from 3 while outrebounding them by 5. Not going to be hot every night.

I get state has earned some of the hate but right now he is controlling this offense very nicely. I know people want the shiny new toy to start but Tate is doing what he needs to. Passing great and controlling offense.

Im a Tate fan I have defended him plenty of times but hes a backup at best he should be coming in when you need to steady the ship not out there starting.

I would say on more than 50% of our possessions we make one pass and then someone holds the ball waits for a screen or just chucks up a shot .

I know this team is a still a work in progress but the roles have got to be defined better.
