This is the basketball version of the 63-0 2018 football game against Iowa or the 56-21 loss to Penn state in 2020. Lovie lost both those teams and Brad has lost this team.
Lovie didn't last too long after his players lost confidence in him and themselves. We will see how long Brad lasts.

If we had a healthy Morez and Gentry coaching the offense, it’s probably a 1-2 possession game.

I’m thankful for the run last year and the big ten success. But I’d be lying if I said I feel like Brad passes the “confetti test”.

I don't think there is any toxic factor, really. It's a group of nice kids, strangers to one another 10 months ago, and no killer instinct in any one of them.

We lack leadership -- strangers, 10 months ago. We lack toughness -- no killer instinct.

The guy who chose these 10 players, rather than others, is the person responsible for the situation this team is in.

I think the coaching staff has screwed up quite a few things this year, but they cannot make open shots for the players

Oh, I totally understand that. What I don’t understand why our offensive strategy is the same game after game. We have known these guys can’t shoot threes for months, but they shot 16 in the first half. That is not an offense that is running just fine.

This will be the first game since 2019 that I stop watching before the 10 minute left mark. Why does Brad refuse to make adjustments in-game? His seat is sinking into Lava right now, soon to be ignited before the BTT :mad:

To what? What would you change? This is his roster. They have no interior presence. Teams are dropping back and allowing the looks. I don't know what buttons you expect to push? Remember the first 15 minutes against MSU? That was a team that was running the offense and making open shots. The second half.....not so much.

The game isn't that hard. It's really not. If you're the head coach, you have to establish that you believe in them. You have to. If you start telling young guys to stop shooting..... you'll never get their confidence back to where it was versus Oregon.
