Game Thread: Illinois vs Duke

[FloridaMan]

Can we please get some pressure on the backup qb?

[skyIdub]

If a red shirt freshman.....nevermind I can't finish that sentence.

[EmeraldCityIllini]

ITS A RUN

[Battle89]

All this will do is have run the rest of the game. Not great Bob.

[illinidarrin]

one more shot again.

[RonC]

This is bad, and getting worse.

[bleedorange and blue]

Stadium will be empty, or half empty the rest of the year. Sucks that nobody will buy us a defense

[Mr. Roberts]

Perhaps we should have been blitzing sooner.

[Hereforit]

For all the disaster the D has been they are actually keeping us in it at this point. Let’s go, O. Gotta have it here.

[MidwesternCowboy]

Ok. Defense has actually quite improved in the 4th quarter. Offense really needs to wake up, though.

[eas23]

Don't know if anyone noticed, but we just forced a punt after the turnover.

[TheChief4Life]

Where was this defensive effort earlier? I feel like our two sides of the ball can’t get in sync.

[LFOD]

We’re in a perfect position to win this game

[IlliniInKnoxville]

At this point, take the coaches salary, hire joe blow for 80k a year. Get better players, and we have a 7-5 record vs 6-6. Easy math.

Ummm...I think taking out their starting QB goes in the "Getting better" category.

[Ander1345]

???

They made a big production in the first half about the Big Ten’s openness in allowing the discussion between the field refs and the replay office to be heard by all of us. Now they are not doing that.

Not sure what that has to do with the size of our board.

I don't know, we just have a big video board.

[RIP_Chief_2003]

Just re-do the opening drive script….

[SuperMetroid]

Let’s get this done guys

[Second place is 1st loser]

As much as the defense is getting bashed, the offense has 3 points this half.

[altgeld88]

My brother, you’ve amused me regularly today, no mean feat given The Defensive Horror.

[BWBW]

We can win the game if we have the will to do so.

[Hereforit]

As much as the defense is getting bashed, the offense has 3 points this half.

This…

[zentrails]

As much as the defense is getting bashed, the offense has 3 points this half.

Yeah they've solved Dixon unfortunately

[Juju]

This would be a good time to remember how to be good against an (on paper...kinda)inferior team
