I think it’s extraordinarily disingenuous to absolutely trash the new DC and pretend the old DC was some phenom after a game and a half of trying to install a brand new defense with an extremely lacking DL and LB group. Especially since it’s not like things were great the past 2 years with Henry. Takes time and talent to install a new defense. Hopefully it starts coming together better in a few weeks. But this fire Hauck now stuff is absolutely ridiculous given what we knew going into the season. You want to hire back Henry? Fine, but let’s not pretend our defense would be better constantly dropping back 8 guys

I'm not trashing the DC, he's only coaching what he has, which is below average. Same as what last year's DC had. The results....well, they don't look much different. AH didn't deserve to be canned.

Houser is putting on a quarterback clinic today, supported by the best offensive line we have had in quite a while, an absolute stud lead receiver with good role players too, and two quality running backs. If the defense can manage to show a pulse and stop killing themselves with stupid penalties and badly missed tackles, we should be able to pull ahead in the 4th quarter. Stopping this next Duke drive would be an excellent starting point.
