Same Orange Liquid Death water, same orange "Illinois" T-shirt, same orange boxers (unwashed....smells like victory), same orange wax melts, same orange Apple Watch band, same orange Iphone case.
Made the same nachos.....removed from the oven with my orange Illini oven mitt.
And the NCAA Tournament Basketball Gods sayeth unto me, "your sacrifices are worthy and the Tournament Gods are pleased."

I was hoping to catch one more Cologuard commercial so I could post that gem but I think I missed my window.
An Illinois win will make everything right in my world again after I blew that one. Let's go Illini!
Two teams that had a combined conference record of 16 and 24. Fear the Dukes
so they would punk two teams that missed the tourney and finished in 10th and 13th place in our conference. color me not impressed with that flex attempt

They played Dayton twice and BYU. Other than that a bunch of Rutgers and Maryland's

Yeh, I don't think this will be as easy as some people think. Is it a favorable matchup? Yeh probably but this team we are playing is hot and their guards are tough. If we win, then we are playing with house money and I like our chances to make the final four. It seems this game should be the HUMP for us. Let's get over it.
Things I note about today's opponent.
Duquesne's best win was two days ago. They have not yet faced a team of the caliber of Illinois. Nebraska might be the closest in that regard, and they lost that game by 10. They were 6th in the A10 and were not in line for an at-large before their tournament victory.
Offensively, they are barely top half in D-1 according to KenPom. Defensively, they are top 30, but - again - they have not faced someone with the explosiveness of Illinois. So how much of those numeric evaluations is based on level of talent they've faced is hard to imagine. The result has been that they've only lost one game to a team they kept under 70 points. So, score 70 and you have a great chance.
A lot of unknowns here as a result. Their two high scoring guards shoot a lot of threes, and we have been known to give those up. They are very thin scoring down low but they have a lot of guys they rotate in. Dainja should feast here on blocks and post moves.
