Not impressed. If the success of this season depends on our ability to make 3's, we will be on a roller coaster ride throughout the season, probably ending in frustration. We drove the ball against Kansas which to me is the way this team needs to play. Go to the basket.

In my experience of being a spectator, free throw shooting is a reflection of how engaged the team is. When you’re not into it mentally, free throw shooting suffers. That’s my explanation.

I've been one of the biggest Coleman Hawkins supporters on this board over the past four years. Love the guy. Gotta admit, though, I did not have a sideline blowup in game one against Eastern on my bingo card. Like, I get it. First game of the season. Lotta expectations. Lotta money to be had if things break well. I'm hoping my guy calms down, focuses, and gets his freaking head in the game. He has the opportunity to have a magical season if he just finally stops overthinking everything.
