JEEZ this EMU passing attack can do anything it wants to.

Glass has been outstanding. Really only one play where the coverage was no good. The Hobbs TD was good coverage, he just got beat when the other guy made a better play. That last third down conversion was basically thrown through a tire from 20 yds away. Perfect pass.

Long story short, there's nothing wrong with the defensive playcalling here so far IMO. Just dudes getting beat.

Bad things are happening when we try to use man coverage or blitz.

I'd much rather play over the top and control the ball with our offense.

my guess is Corbin is out after that cheap late hit. A skeptic would say the defender did that somewhat on purpose knowing he was coming back from an injury

My guess is late hit on him aggravated his hip pointer - cheap shot. Really sucks if a late hit takes him out of this game

We can’t keep stopping them and then following it up by shooting ourselves in the foot in offense....

It’s concerning that we can’t just put this game away early with the chances we’ve had.

Just run the ball, we are getting 10 yards a carry. That will open up RPO passes. 2nd and 15 could have been manageable if you just run there.
