No quit in these Illini. FDU is a lesser team, and the Illini have been ragged in stretches with too many turnovers, but the effort, hustle, rebounding and for the most part playmaking have been everything we could hope for given the circumstances. I love this team this year.

After a pretty shaky start, this has been a pretty awesome team effort, all things considered. Going forward, rebounding / defense / effort are going to be even more crucial than ever. We’re showing up in that department so far.

We'll be even better when Ty can finish in the paint. His drives to the rim are phenomenal, until he blows a two foot bunny. All of the physical tools are there.

Too early. We're doing what we need to do vs a god awful FDU team. Given the circumstances, they were just what the doctor ordered.
