Illinois may very well double Purdue's effort from that night.
Do any of you feel that Humrichous’ defense will be missed this year? If so, do you think someone can fill that role this season? Hard to replace that length and ability to guard several positions.

I think so. Some of that may be made up by committee, but he was just a smart player and it really showed last season. Hard to replicate that older BBIQ with freshman, but again, they may make up for some of it.
I try not to compare teams too much. Humrichhous was great, but if I were worried about replacing someone from last year, I think there's another player I'd be worried about.

What is Ben up to now?
I think we will have plenty of rebounding. But who takes up the mantle of power forward defense? Gonna be rough.
Ben became a dependable defender. But the Achilles Heel for the Illini last season was their inability to slow down quick, slashing guards. To that end, the addition of QC and LW should help in that regard. Missing Mirk will definitely effect their ability to defend inside, so we will have to see what the bigs can do to be effective there. We will see soon enough.
Ahh I remember the days not too long ago when BH was the worst player to step foot on a basketball court and didn't belong on a HS women's team according to some on this board...
Thankfully we've got top-tier coaching that will hopefully help several others progress defensively to replace the effort and value that we got out of BH last year.
Not even dressing is a little concerning, especially when our best player is already out indefinitely.
Nah, if they’re playing it safe and no he’s not going in at all (bummer) there’s no point to suit up. I’m guessing he’s resting up, nothing serious

We have absolutely no clue what he brings offensively or if he can be a difference maker on the glass. Brad referred to him as the worst shooter in the team....maybe second to Fagbemi.
