Vaaks’ release is hair trigger. Blink and it’s gone.

dont love that being announced so early
Don't know much about dislocations, but I think it's important to get it back in place before the swelling gets bad.
Goes without saying but having Mirk and JD out will be rough. Two really important players.

It’s difficult to do what the Illini did that half to a high school team. I mean that was a masterpiece half. I don’t care who they’re playing. We play Duke that hard on both sides of the ball, shoot that well, and crash the boards like we are we’d be up on them by 20+ at half. There are games where a team looks absolutely unbeatable. That was that first half. We looked incredible.
We won't be able to rebound as well and get away with constant skip passes against Duke.

When Weber was coach, how many times did the Illini score less than 67 points?

Wagler in his first game last year, this time:

18pts, 6rebs, 4ast, 4-8 FG, 2-2 3pt.

I think he was pretty good.
Yeah but could he dunk?

Have two players from the same team ever had triple double in same game? 👀
NarrowJ where did you see your rebounding lines? I couldn’t find a site to offer individual stats

And no one is mentioning 2 turnovers while playing 12 guys. But, remember, a team is never as good as their best game...or as bad as their worst. But I love watching a plethora of Illini playing well and hitting shots.

Gotta work hard to make this their floor...against the TTechs, Dukes, and UConns of CBK....but that is the dream. Just keep the confidence building, even while watching Duke shoot a 68% first half from the floor with 43% from the arc. But, unfortunately, the best thing about freshmen is they become sophomores.

Don't like this. This is the one thing that you don't want to see in a 47 point game.
I’ll be real, I’m just thrilled that says shoulder and not collarbone. Shoulder is fixable in season, collarbone not so much. If it’s a dislocated shoulder, not great for a shooter, and hurts like hell, but you can get back on the court relatively quickly with in most cases full recovery in not all that much time

Looks like Davis isn't expected to return. Not good.
Never know what will play out, but he will be highly motivated to return while a frosh will be highly motivated to earn his minutes in the interim.

He dislocated his shoulder. He wasn’t going to come back

I knew he wasn't coming back - that would never make sense anyway.

Just feel like we've watched enough sports to know the quicker its announced, just seems more ominous.

Fingers crossed
