This team doesn’t play with intensity. It feels like they’re playing not to make mistakes.
This line needs to get lit up also! We run a trick play and still almost get sacked. Also, is it me or do we have the slowest developing run plays in history.

There ain't a quarterback better than him on this roster so it doesn't. Paddock looked miserable vs Penn State.
Mrs. Paddock? We don’t have a better option and nothing that’s happened this game has been his fault.
There is not one phase of the game that Illinois looked even average early on. Run blocking, pass blocking, qb play, rushing, passing, tackling, pass coverage, run coverage, qb pressures, special teams play, penalties, and turnovers were all horrendous against the weakest team we will play this year as we fell behind 10-0. Maybe this latest TD drive in which the Illini performed much better will inspire a general turnaround.
The result was beautiful. The execution was far from it.
Need a stop here, just get confidence and shut those guys down.

Our line can't even give Luke enough time to fire off a screen pass on a one-step throw without a guy blasting untouched into his face. Our line is regularly losing 2yds of the line of scrimmage whenever they're called on to block. If your big takeaway is we have a QB problem, I don't know what you're watching. We could have Tom Brady back there and he'd be leaving on a stretcher. We couldn't block a middle schooler right now.
