Bam needs to start getting credit from the official scorer for some assists to reach that triple double, but I am afraid that we will see a healthy dose of AJ Redd instead of Bam once we reach the 10 minute mark of the second half. So glad Brad persuaded Boswell to come home to Champaign-Urbana and will always wonder what could have happened if he had come to the ILLINI first rather than wasting his time in AZ. Fletch has had an incredible impact on him which is why he looks like a man playing against boys.

I'll be honest, I thought he looked like a typical decent freshman the past 2 games. He's looked the part today. Best part of what he's doing today is it's sustainable. Love seeing it.

Hard to critique anything from tonight's first half performance. Tremendous improvement and chemistry = one of the best halves of basketball ever by an Illini team that I have seen since 1955. Kudos to all who played over this masterful 30 min in Assembly Hall!!!

At some point, some coach will put an athletic guy on him who is as quick, taller, and determined to destroy his offensive game. Then we will find out if he can be a plus contributor by figuring out what else he can do for his team. Not that I think he will fail, but it will be a huge answer if he can shine.

A real test awaits Tuesday but I really like the makeup of this team. Probably more excited than the Ayo/Kofi team that lost to Loyola. This team is lightyears ahead of last year's mentally AND physically thus far. Hopefully we stay healthy and confident when we face some adversity in a game.
