I don’t know if anyone is blaming Brad per se. But these seem outside of the norm of seasonal college basketball injuries to a single team over the past two years.
Fletch has deservedly gotten a lot of love around these parts, but given the number of injuries we've experienced recently, I think it's more that reasonable to question whether our strength and conditioning is giving our players what they need during the offseason to withstand the hard practices that our team needs to compete.

It’s basketball….you run, you jump, you cut, you make sudden change of direction movements….ankles, knees and soft tissue stuff are going to happen.

Knee injuries are this season's mono, apparently.

Say the line, Bart! "Student athletes earning hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars deserve their privacy. You have no right to expect healthy players when you buy tickets to a game. You should be happy the Illini field enough players not to forfeit."

Next man up. Let's get healthy quick please.

Three knees resulting in missed games in a season is pretty wild. Add a lingering hamstring and mono/tonsillectomy impacting multiple games. Never seen anything like it. Curse of the chief I guess 🤷‍♂️

This is okay...
We'll be okay...
I'll throw my hat in the ring with a final score of 96-67. Bonus prediction: Z makes 5 threes.

Now if he misses multiple games? I'm level 5 on the FranCon meter

They should probably just spend every practice shooting free throws and three pointers. But no jumping on the three pointers in case someone lands on the floor too hard.

Come on guys, it definitely sucks but this is basketball, there is going to be contact when you play basketball and injuries are going to happen.

The only way people should be upset with the coaching staff is if someone is with a current injury is being pushed too hard and reinjures themselves or if someone gets hurt doing another sport or activity outside of basketball that could have been avoided.
Finally, someone with brains lol. I’ve seen people break bones from tripping on stairs in their own home. These things happen, it’s unfortunate but it’s clear who’s played ball and who hasn’t by the angry Brad posts LOL.

Yes

And those who are insensitive to the player's health are really something too (like anyone can control this... then don't come to the game then...)

What do you expect him to do?
Implant titanium knees?

We need a 20 man roster to have a full rotation. I hope this doesn't turn into a repeat of last year.

"15 guys on the roster??!!?! Damn, I can increase the violence during practice!"

Praying its minor cant lose this kid for any extended period of time. He's poised to turn into a sure fire draft pick this year if he can stay healthy. At complete strength this roster was designed to do major damage. Not having TY Rodgers is a gut punch cant lose Tomi too I'm praying he can play within the next few games.
