With all the Tomi hype, many of us may have overlooked the potential of Big Z.
Would anyone here have predicted Z to have played more minutes than Boswell?

Illini shooting percentages have improved in the second half....somewhat of anomaly. Guess BU got a point across about team play and good shot selection need to be habits for 40 min,
I think people listened a bit too much to the talking heads there. Cal really wasn't utilizing him properly in my opinion and thus far it looks like the style of play we have this year is far far more complementary to his strengths. Big Z does have a lot of potential, but he needs a good fit to unlock it. So far I'm loving what Brad and the crew have been doing with him. 2 of the 3 games he's really shined. He's going to get tick this season no question

Stojakic is a black hole. He gets the ball and it never leaves his hands except for a shot.
In some ways he has more potential than Tomi - he's a much better run-jump athlete. But Tomi is way ahead of him in fundamentals and basketball IQ(Cal have something to do with that?). If Z can match Tomi's fundamentals and consistency, he'd be the better NBA prospect.
