Game Thread: Illinois vs Gonzaga

Been a day. Watched a dozen or so games today. Pretty consistent across the board. Worst of the day was Bo Boroski and Larry Scirotto with EMU/Rutgers. Not really sure that calls this year are any more brutal than usual. It is what it is. Refs just doing what they are trained to do and calling points of emphasis. TV Ted, Larry, Bo, Pat Driscoll....they are all working and doing a job. Looks like Fans are just being fans and giving them *constructive* criticism as they are known to do.

Really liking what I’m seeing from this team regardless of the outcome, BUT a win would look really good in March.
Win or lose, this game marks a positive development for Illinois basketball. We have a somewhat multidimensional team.

Would LOVE to look back on this game (and maybe this tournament) as the turning point for this program...
