I saw the stat that Illinois is 13 and 1 when Kofi scores 20 or more. Here's hoping for over 20 for kofi!.

Sounds like Houston really likes to take away the three by pressuring the guards. That might be able to open up Kofi

One would hope, but a hallmark of the Houston defense is a blitz doubling on any post entry and denying weakside pass. Kofi is better than last year in these situtations, but he still gets flustered. Also, our guards have had a hard time making entry passes (especially side entry) when pressured and pushed out farther. Guards have to rebound of the defensive end at a crazy level as Sampson bases his system on very high rates of offensive rebounds. He wants high volume shooting and high volume second chance attempts.

This Houston team beats you by going off on the offensive boards, bullying you inside, quick transition baskets, and really guarding the 3 with the length and strength to still stop the 2. We need to crash the boards on both ends of the floor and limit transition for them. Keep going inside to Kofi on pick and roll and get them into foul trouble. Let's go, guys. Play hard
