Illini defense keeling them in the game overall, thats why when someone looses their man it stands out so much more. Gotta rebound better and take care of ball.

You can adjust who’s in the game and if their actually running an offense. Should have had Goode , Melendez, and Podz shooting those open three’s.

Looking in my crystal ball…. Swami says “ Illini will bring out same starting lineup, not play freshman for at least 5 minutes, and get back down double digits.”

Samson (and I think he’s a scumbag) had a better plan coming in. It can be beaten by having our BEST shooters in the game. Will BU do it ?
Hold please…..
Melendez and Goode were in the game. This stuff about adjustments and BU is stupid IMO. People just say it when they're frustrated.

First half is done. Forget about it. Just don't let them go on 10-0 run to start the second half...

REBOUND REBOUND REBOUND. And, no stupid turnovers please!

There. I solved the issues. Let's go win.

Se you in three minutes.

Not exactly. They're daring guys to shoot where they're not that good, and it's working because they're not able to get better shots. Settling for the shots you're not good at is a recipe for losing. Great scouting and execution by Houston. Need a TO IMO to fire the guys up --they're in a weak rhythm that's not going to get it done.
They allowed them and not others. They took them and missed. House n clearly is picking their poison and it worked until Goode and RJ came in

The problem with this take is that personnel matter. Two of our three shooters are seriously diminished by health/injury issues. With even one of them at full speed this could be a very different level of offensive efficiency. At this point the question is whether we can adapt before we lose.
I don’t disagree at all and acknowledged the lineup being an issue for this game. But the lineup and adjustments are on the coach. Brad chose a defensive oriented lineup to start and we were all pulling our hair out. Granted, if Belo and Hawkins hit those open shots, we’d all be singing different tunes too.

I’m hoping the freshman getting meaningful minutes in the 2nd half since they seemed to trigger an offensive spark. But I’m a fan who would rather watch a 80-70 defeat with good offense then a 60-50 slugfest where we can’t buy a basket. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He completely loses his man at least 5 times a game. But we need his offense. Once we have a lead toward the end get him out of there.
He did get a nice steal on the backcut. Haven't seen anyone else turn the proper way and get a hand in the passing lane today, or in the last few weeks.

Same starting lineup, same offensive rebound

CH has to find the energy he had the last game, especially on the boards.

I don't completely mind DMW getting his third. It will force Underwood's hand. I'm not in the "BENCH WILLIAMS" camp, per se, but I have enjoyed some others coming in this game.

Also, WHERE ARE THE REBOUNDS!

TIE GAME!

See you in three!

I mean, part of the reason the 3's aren't falling is because one of our best shooters isn't available and another one can't see. Seems relevant.
What happened to Da’Monte’s shooting, as well?

(WTAF with the inability to rebound?)
