Moments like these are why we obsess over this team and this sport. To come to this site, refresh it like crazy when the portal is open, build lineups and allocate minutes during the summer, and suffer in insane game threads during the season is the stuff only true sickos like us can understand. We’ve agonized with this team. We’ve dreamed with this team. We’ve felt pure joy with this team. This is our best shot to go to the promised land in 20 years. For two plus hours, no matter where you are and what your circumstances happen to be, we’re all in this together. I believe in this team. I believe in us. Let’s rob the f*cking bank.

Don’t know about those links but the varsity app has been working great the first two rounds for listening to Illini radio. I think my anxiety is lower muting the TV and listening to the friendly and more knowledgeable Illini broadcast.

I truly hope the guys continue to carry through those feelings from that players only meeting. No regrets. As Keaton said in one interview I saw today, “We’re going to have fun out there.” Go out and play YOUR game, Illinois, and have fun while you’re at it. Let’s do this, Illini. Let’s goooooooooo!

Second place is 1st loser
This is going to be a real tough one for us. That doesn't mean we can't or won't win, but these are two WILDLY conflicting styles. I feel very similar feeling going into this one as I did playing Michigan. I feel like we have more questions than answers to playing Houston and Houston has more answers than questions when playing us. If they shoot poorly, they have avenues to grind out a W. If we shoot poorly, there aren't many paths to go down. We need a game played in the 80's and outside of lights out shooting.....not sure how we get there.
