Saturday afternoon game on FOX vs. a rival who’s toward the bottom of the standings? Shoot, man, this is an opportunity for…
1. The Krush and the rest of the crowd to show that Champaign is still a house of horrors for visiting teams.
2. TJ to show he’s back.
3. The players to show that the loss to NU pissed them off.
4. The staff to show they can adjust coming out of a loss.
5. The team to show that we are good enough to dispatch of lesser teams relatively easily at home.
Any one of those doesn’t happen, and it’ll be a disappointment. This SHOULD be a “pick me up” and feel-good game for the team AND fan base. A win is a win, but anything less is concerning. Let’s go get it done!
