That first cutter is there so often and we never stick with it. Good job Grif cutting hard and Ayo finding him.

Illini working with essentially subs.

Between yesterday's game and this one, future looks good.

Griffin is really dynamic. He needs to stay on the floor in the 2nd half.

Nice half by Jordan and Griffin. Delarosa contributed. Ayo decent. Officials were brutal.

Feel good about this one if Frazier and Giorgi play well in the second half. Illinois played average at best that half and has the lead, which is nice.

AJ playing like a senior stepping up getting buckets. Good 1st half minutes for De La Rosa. Griffin playing fearless. Keep it up and we win

Good to see BU and staff make adjustments and make a concerted effort to get Griffin in play. Kid showed something yesterday, payoff today, and he is paying it forward for the ILLINI. Really like the flow AG plays with. Ayo is playing within himself against THT, nice to see. THT is a "good" college player NOT great as many predicted. Williams and Frazier will be stepping up in the 2nd half, Jones might have been lapped by AG, and DeLaRosa giving us servicable minutes, which is all we need. ILLINI WIN coming up, BU vs Prohm (shorthanded) I take BU either way!

Anybody want to start dissing AJ again?[/QUOTE

I don't think anyone is dissing him. He's a one dimensional player. His game is the three point shot, so when he's not making it...there's not much else he can do and lime Nichols, he's just another warm body.

Today, he's making some shots....doing his job.

I may be warped, but I enjoy Bill Walton's anecdotes. He's good weird. I really like it when he describes Illinois as an "emerging power".

I like Benetti's straight man shtick. Looked him up on Wiki: born prematurely, had respiratory problem, too, that may have been the cause of his cerebral palsy - which I didn't know he had. I think he and Walton make a good team. Entertaining.

Love Griffin. It really concerns me that this team is simply unable to stop anyone from scoring. Way, way too many layups given up.

We really need to clean this up. We can be a decent team if we do.

What game are you watching? ISU shooting 40% from he field and 23% from 3 for the half. 9 turnovers including a number of charges.

Double digit rebounds one night followed by double digit points 14 hours later while playing solid D while “better” players are in foul trouble in 5 minutes.....is one dimensional.

Ok.

White Sox TV guy. He's really good. He'll have a long successful career.

Kipper needs to find himself or he will quickly work his way out of minutes. He’s just been non-existent. I’ve said it before but this team has been completely transformed. Regardless of outcome of this game, I am really excited about the product and the future!

I have actually enjoyed Walton so far. Thought he was very complimentary of Illinois during last night’s broadcast. If you don’t expect much from a tactician standpoint, he starts to grow on you.

If some of those 3’s last night and today would start falling for Giorgi, so much more would open up.
