Games are 40 minutes long and the difference, between the ears, between being down 10 and being down 15....it's big. It's a mental block. If they come out and hit a couple of threes....it's hold on to your hats.

Yeah but the ball was still live and he didn't stay in the play. Hope he gets time in ,2nd half, hrs fun to watch.
It might not be right out of the gate, but there will be a run at some point... and I'm confident Illinois will withstand it.
Whoever advances from this game is going to have a tough time against UCONN. They look unbeatable right now. We are probably the team that has the best chance at beating them so you never know but they look poised right now.
I think they said we only had one TO in the last 13 minutes against the #1 D in the country.
Could have heard wrong but that's actually amazing.

Only deficiencies are obvious...missed FTs. But kudos for playing as hard as they can play and playing with purpose.

Need to cut down on the chuckers and try to get it to anybody on fast cuts to the paint. ISU is well-prepared for the booty ball, so take what they give you....move the ball fast like we have and send cutters with an occasional TSJr. drive.
If we don't shoot 60% for the game from the FT line, this game will be a lot closer than we would like....and I am hoping our fan population does not get diminished by heart attacks, strokes, and seizures as a result.
Now, can we keep the speed, energy, and execution up for 20 more minutes?

I love this year! Totally Illini history! Tv gurus say the only team that can beat Huskies is Illini but we have to win this game! Wouldn’t expect anything harder!!!
