Correction to your post, we can't play much better than this offensively. Our defense has been possibly the worst of the season.

Can't play hard for two halves. Can't avoid long scoring droughts. Can't look good on both offense and defense in the same game. This might be our ceiling (this season). Still hopeful for the future. :(

This is not officiating, we have to man up and get the ball. They are going after it much more aggressively than we are.

And we are about to find another way to lose

Cannot remember a team shooting as well as Iowa from the FF line and losing....a telling tale.

I really want to know - are we fouling that much more than other teams that the disparity should be THAT bad?

I agree about the future. It's just frustrating because are offense is off the charts and if we just played a little smarter on defense and went after the boards with more toughness, we would have this game in hand.

I missed most of the first half. Hard to believe we had them down 20. They look like the Warriors from what I have seen.

We do foul a lot, especially dumb shoves from behind when the other team rebounds the ball and reach in fouls anywhere from 100 to 30 feet away from the basket. However, Iowa has gotten away with a quite a few push offs this half. Regardless, they are getting away with them because they are the aggressors, not us, which is pathetic considering this is at home.

Come out of a timeout and Kipper turns it right over.

In the Alstork call, I just wonder how a room full of refs would vote on that call when both players were going for a free ball and collide with their arms. May be a way it should be called, but that call certainly was not neutral.

Official gets in the way of a ball that should've been out of bounds. Then Black gets a weak foul call. The basketball gods really do want us to lose this game

Look at that. Even the officials are playing for the hawkeyes

Finding so many ways to lose games its ridiculous. I'm legit unsure of whether or not our hope about this team next year is foolish.
