With their roster, they have to. They're not going to handle teams straight up with their lack of athleticism. You have to practice a zone from game one. You can't implement it mids season. Plus, they'll destroy a zone.

There is so much time to prepare from year to year, I don’t think it would be difficult to implement something (zone) just to have a different look. Then again, we haven’t been able to teach effective inbounds plays for years, so maybe not. We have good players, however, it seems like we are giving them a knife to go to a gun fight at times.
