If somebody chucks a 3 without the ball touching the paint, that person should be immediately benched. We have a bunch of guys that can attack…play inside out. It’s really not that complicated.

Too much time and we need to be able to properly run offense and execute late in games. You're right, don't just chuck shots, but at the same time....run your stuff and convert.

Why is illinois allergic to off ball screens? Aren't those the type of shots Davis thrives on? Obviously not an issue today because the high ball screen is working, but that's because Iowa is so unathletic.
We're at the stage where if we milk the clock, we don't need to score again.

This is how we should have been using Hum all year. Off the bench. Spot up 3s. If he gets hot, leave him in. He is just not a D1 starter. Doesn’t have the speed, stamina, defense, etc.
And Brad pretending he was starter material all year because we paid him to be is just plain stubbornness (also see: the sunk-cost fallacy).

I'm not advocating for playing only 5 guys, just saying that the minute distribution tonight has been a marked improvement for us defensively. And Iowa is a very good team offensively, they just don't play defense or rebound.
