Knew Stirtz was gonna shoot well today, he was due. Much better, get up 5 at half and bring out the 2nd half Illini.
That shot was a prayer. Not gonna hit that every time.
That said, it seems like some of the Iowa players aren't willing to take jump shots. Couple of players were open on that play and they didn't take the shot.
We need to dial up the energy and stop missing free throws. Awful start, but glad to only be down by 4.

I like that Iowa is starting to get in foul trouble, but I just have a feeling the refs will swallow their whistles as soon as they get to six fouls…
All we have to do is counter any of their mini runs. Then pop them in the mouth to pull away in the second half

Stirtz kid is on fire right now hoping he cools off some throughout the game. On a bright not Iowa has 5 fouls already this half bang it inside get in the bonus ASAP and make the damn free throws
