I hear you...just one play before his steal.....Epps bringing the ball up and MM begging for it...when he didn't get it...mini tantrum.

Wasn't trying to overreact...just something to keep one eye on.

That second 3 by Epps was really nice. In rhythm while in transition, very confident.

After two games, Mayer's play was some concern. Not the same guy we saw at Baylor....lacking energy and looking somewhat ill. Tonight he seems focused and in the game. Different guy....need him bad every night. Vets have to lead this team and Illini have three pretty good ones to do just that on both ends. Good game so far from MM.
