It seems pretty clear that this team is going to take a while to get their timing and rhythm in sync unfortunately. Looks like everyone is second guessing themselves.

how many fast break points have we had in the last 2.5 games?
This to me is the most notable difference between this year and last. We are getting very few (if any?) points in transition.

Ayo related? Sure. But we had guys like Giorgi and Kofi scoring in transition consistently.

This year our offense seems to be run in a field of quick sand.

I think you guys are right on we just don’t seem to have a good offensive scheme at all. Kofi has passed out of the double twice this game which is promising if we can get Trent able to shoot again.

Seems like coming out of the halftime will be a bit of a stalemate, because as I recall, Bruce couldn’t make in-game adjustments either.

My jaw drops every time we run offensive sets, patterns or whatever they are. Hit Kofi if he is open but look to drive, kick, shoot.

It looks like it will be baby steps for a while. Every year we have been much improved in the second half. Sophomore PG and almost no flow to the offense.

If that’s what we drew up….yikes. Why not put Plummer back in and run him off a screen?? Underwood’s decisions have been brutal.

Trent 0-2
Damonte 0-1
Grandison 1-1

Plummer 3-3

we seem to be still stuck in last season trying to live off of what that team did . But this is a new team and we need to allow it to become whatever it is that its gonna be come .

I said during the summer that we should start Cohawk at PF and we should run Plummer off baseline screens and use him like like a Reddick or Guyton. We don't have an AYO but our offense seems to be waiting on someone to become that guy .

baseline screen for Plummer by Kofi and Cohawk

Plummer catches it and if open shoots

If hes not open Cohawk is flashing to the ft line

and Kofi turns and posts

You now can feed Kofi directly through Plummer or give it to the Cohawk at the high post and he can either take the midrange jumpshot or feed Kofi from the high post.

Hopefully Brad checks the game thread at halftime.

Highlights showing Curbelo getting schooled. Hope he sees these and buys in. He has all the tools.
