Honestly, I am happy to see KJ move on to the next level where someone will coach him. The carelessness exhibited is unconscionable. There need to be consequences, and there will be where he is going. Meanwhile, we're still here at the NCAA level. Time to move on.

Give me guys like Trent, Coleman, Kofi, and Ayo who looked like they gave a crap about being in Illinois over this lazy effort any day of the week.

Yep- not going to be sad to see KJ go- Bulls, please don't draft him. Dude just isn't mentally tough.

Coaching was atrocious.

I felt like no matter how the game went I'd feel good about the season and again I'm left angry

Fine margins. We are too young to capitalize. Despite the TO's KJ doesn't turn that over, makes his FT, and Tre hits that it's a 4 point game. We aren't good enough.

Ok, WR and KJ, it's your last couple minutes in a Illini uniform. Go out with a bang, not a whimper.

Pope was really smart putting Garrison and Williams on WR. That size and athleticism just took him out of the game

Underwood hasn’t done jack as a coach. It was a TSJ and his ridiculous big ten and then ncaa tourney tears that did it for him last year.

Fire Brad once and for all. He can’t handle this level of play. How do you watch that game as a coach and not change to switching the picks? Why don’t we ever press or trap when down? It’s the same thing every year where he doesn’t adjust when it’s needed and we get blown out.

This is the type of team where you’d be super excited to see what they could do next year, but in this era it’s not happening. Then again we might not get the caliber of players we’ve very recently gotten if it weren’t for this era, but whatever. Second round exit it is.
This is a fairly compelling argument to just stop caring about Illinois basketball quite so much.
