Good luck today! My wife’s grandfather passed away before the season started at the age of 93. He was a HUGE Illini fan from Charleston and myself I am from Lexington, so when I married my wife there was always friendly banter between the two of us and aside from winning the whole thing being his #1, he wanted to see the Illini play the Cats so we could watch together.

I know he will be watching this game right along side of me, and while I want my Cats to win, I can’t go wrong either way because I know how happy he would have been to have seen this game.

Tucson, right? Thunderbirds will be in Chicago in August. Last time I saw them was when they flew over Wrigley Field during a game in 1989. What a thrill!

I was also a big fan of Flying Illini air national guard based in Springfield.

This Duke/Baylor game is taking forever. I’m assuming since Illinois is CBS too, that we won’t start until Duke is over? Duke won’t be over until 4:30 or so

The box at the top of the screen already says 5:30 EST but I don't think they would delay the tip for the first game at a different site.
