Pretty sure it's true. Haven't seen us look this bad since the first Ohio St game. The last 16 games tells me we are better than this.
For us to comeback, Loyola is going to need to miss some 1-1s...next 3 fouls they'll have them. If they make all them, they probably win
Raftery has been been begging for us to change our approach on defense, it feels like he is personally pained by how easy we are making it for them.

Too much one on one... or on 2 or on 3. We hold the ball instead of passing to the 2 or 3 open team mates
We would all love to see an Illini win....but 90% of the collegiate hoop world knows who has played and coached the best today....and it is not the Illini.

As an Illini fan I am use to this... why would I expect any different.. just put me in the nuts already.
Yeah... we are playing like hot garbage. That’s true. However, that last call in Kofi, compared to the mugging he got makes this game LAUGHABLE.
Hope I'm proven wrong, we just don't have it today. We have been sloppy all game long Loyola is shooting around 50% & out rebounding us. We are pressing on many high percentage shots in the paint. Loyola has had no cold streaks in this game unlike the Illini. Too many turnovers!

I think we are very good against the predictable teams we play 2x every year in conference. We don’t necessarily adapt well to teams outside of conference. Mizzo, Ohio,..
