Does Damonte remind anyone else as Sergio as a freshman? Not so much in size/physique, but his ability to make the fundamentally solid play, play physically when necesssary and serve as the "glue guy" keeping the team together?

Seems like in recent years, players tried to play hard to prove that they were each a good player, but then most seemed worried about just being capable--the offense then seemed too stagnant and deliberate and often ended up with bad 1 on 1 matchups at the end of the shot clock. Already this year there's a little buzz like players are playing hard because there's an urgency to prove as a team that they can all be better and better if they continually put in the intensity. And they have a great ability to rotate energy into the game. It's great to see.
