This was the way it was back in the day (70s and 80s). Play Thursday nights and Saturday afternoon - every week.

Yep. Was thinking that too. And before that it was Saturday afternoon/evening and Monday evening during conference play.
Craziest I saw was Ohio State lose to Wisconsin on a Saturday night in Jan 1980 in a game that ended at 10 pm and then play a noon game on Sunday on national TV v Ralph Sampson and Virginia, and win.

Expecting tonight to be another B1G grind. The metrics favor Illinois, but Maryland loves to come to Champaign and catch fire. Let's put a stop to that trend this year. I - L - L !

Just a heads up for everyone....if you open another window for loyalty and click on the radio icon in DAN'S top post , you can listen to BRIAN and DEON and use other window to post in the game thread.....also , there is virtually no syncing of radio and tv broadcast....only time maybe is when there is a media timeout or after halftime to start second half.....enjoy the game everyone...................
