I’ll never understand why we suck so bad against Maryland. They are not that good, yet we just crater against them.

They can take away the strength of Illinois (offensive rebounding), and they can attack what Illinois willingly gives up (short 2 point shots)

I'll ask: with Big Tom on the bench, what's the plan to attack him? Hummer isn't going to take the ball to the rack. Morez isn't built for scoring on the block (only PNRs). Everyone else is only scoring on the perimeter.

We are shooting 33% from the floor and only 2 for 11 from 3. We have 7 TO's versus NONE for Maryland. In my opinion, we are not a good defensive team. In a game this big, we can't come up with a few steals or force a TO in the first half.
