They look like an older G league team, we look like a 300 level team going against a top 15 team.
Kasparas looks to be locked as a 5 pick but man Maryland guards are not NBA level guards and they are giving him a hard time. He is 18 and will get stronger and better, but not NBA ready.

Ironically this game is the ultimate refutation of the idea that we'd rather have the 6 seed to get to the Elite Eight. In fact, we need the easiest 2nd round matchup we can get to improve our chances at the S16!

Part of the problem for us is that everything we tried last night worked on offense. Maryland plays much tougher defense. A lot of our passes that found their way to open shooters last night are being tipped or stolen. Iowa spoiled us.
