One of my favorite things about Lucas so far is how much zip is on his passes. He really moves the ball well.

I love the 2 pg system that's being ran by Groce so far this season. Last year he didn't really have a point guard and I think with Frazier and Lucas it will be a lot of fun. Frazier only scored 43 tonight.
TA gets two fouls in the first five minutes. JCL has three fouls at the half. Thorne continues to play off the rust and misses a barrel full of bunnies. Malcolm has zero points.
I guess what I am trying to say is this: I don't care how weak the opposition may be; this Illinois team has a lot of weapons. Black comes back next week, Kipper finally arrives in just over a month, and you've gotta think Thorne will get his legs under him eventually. Tonight, at least, I feel real good about Illinois basketball.

I was about to post that I really like Tracy's new 'do.
Looks like all of the reports that Tracy became a better shooter during his 2 years off are true. He is lights out to start the year.
