Really needed George to complete those passes to grant and Taylor. Grant gets us first and goal at the two. Huge miss there and Taylor was open for a huge play.

Uh why did Johnson come back to that ball? Like he was watching the defender (who badly misplayed it) instead of the ball.

So now the play-by-play commentator has joined in to the insanity. He claimed that George was confused at the end of the third quarter. George clearly stood there pointing at the clock and talking to the referee about letting it run out to end the corner. There was no confusion.

Illinois coaches in-game adjustments have been absolutely outstanding. What a great coaching staff. Bodes well for the future.
