This game worries me. Extreme weather conditions favor the underdog. Purdue losing to an underdog at home, OSU struggling against NW. it feels like a crazy day. Throw in the fact that nobody is giving a depleted MSU team a chance, they will be motivated. This game won’t be easy. I smell trouble.

I think extreme weather conditions favor the superior defensive team, which is ILLINOIS.
PU is losing because their offense is more of a throwing attack and are forced to be one dimensional. We will be forced into our strength of running the ball. I trust BB knows how to game plan for these Midwest conditions.

That’s more due to match ups in the weather than it is because they’re underdogs.
Both OSU and Purdue are heavy pass first teams, which gets impacted by the wind.
We’re a run heavy team, so we won’t be impacted quite as much.
Still football tho, anything can happen.

Calling Iowa as an underdog a stretch. I give Iowa that game 9/10 regardless of weather. Purdue has a vanilla defense.

I want to see us come out more stout defensively from the get go. We've been allowing some long drives to start the game before settling in, and in a game against a reeling opponent, the one thing you can't do is give them confidence and allow them to rally around each other. Let's jump them from the start and then impose our will on them until they break.
