I have trouble understanding how a guy is left that wide open with eight defenders in coverage of a shallow zone.

Imagine that, MSU brings pressure on 3rd down and we throw it away, have to settle for a field goal. It's absolute rocket science
1st down runs just not our thing... yet we just won't stop again and again...
I see MSU knows how to dial up a rush. Stopping that seems to be our achilles heal on offense.
I hate to say it, but this game feels like the first turnover loses.
It was first and goal on the 4 with about 2:14 on the clock. We were running all over them. Could have ran and got under the 2 minute. Best case scenario you run twice more and get the touchdown on 3rd down and force them to either take a time out or run the clock down to 1:20. This is not rocket science, pretty simply run on 1st and 2nd and then you can throw on 3rd if you want.

Fun fact, Chiles has had a TO every game this season (and many games with multiple INT's). Guess which defense hasn't turned him over at all today?
So thankful that flag was on MSU. The way it was immediately thrown I thought someone lined up in the neutral zone and I was about to lose it.
